Prelude 02:21

On a dance floor, I can feel Nerves pounding, yet I don’t have to be real I’ve been bleeding my Spirit dry But now I’m sure I’ve got the reason why With my sense flooded it’s justified Yeah, now I know I got the reason why With my senses flooded it’s justified ‘Cause I know, I know, I… I know we couldn’t be On a sinking ship, having another drink I know we’re in the clear Won’t be taken in by no alarmist fear I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this right now On a dance floor I am one With the purpose, I am the chosen son Who’ll inherit all we’ve achieved This is my religion, I truly believe This party won’t stop till it’s given me This is my religion, I truly believe This party won’t stop till you give it to me What I came for I know we couldn’t be On a sinking ship, having another drink I know we’re in the clear Won’t be taken in by no alarmist fear I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this right now I know, I know, I, I know, I know, I… I know we couldn’t be On a sinking ship, just having our last drink I know we’re in the clear Won’t be taken in by no alarmist fear I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this I can’t believe in more than this right now

You are not another one Blending into the scenery Another feature of the landscape You are the one who burns a hole Straight through my mind The piece of the dream More real than what I find When I awake You’re on the other side Of the Glass Instinct telling me I can reach out and touch A cold surface telling me Not so fast You’re on the other Side You are not another one Like all to often they seem to be Another repetition of the script I know too well But we could write another one We could throw caution to the wind Oh dear, it seems I’ve said too much No going back now On the other side Of the Glass Instinct telling me I can reach out and touch A cold surface telling me Not so fast You’re on the other Side My bad, never mind Who am I to think That just because you’re different Then this would be? That i could end up anywhere But on this other side Of the Glass Instinct telling me I can reach out and touch A cold surface telling me Not so fast You’re on the other Side

Could Be 04:00
Could be a rat in a maze Could be a spoke on a wheel Could be a brain in a tank Watching a film on a reel Could I be anything They wanted me to be? Maybe I could be Anything you want Mutable, a blank slate Write what will be me We could be dust in a moment We could be ash by tomorrow But for today… If I could be anything They wanted me to be Maybe I could be Anything you want Could I be anything They wanted me to be? Maybe I could be Anything you want Maybe we will be Ashes by tomorrow Ashes by tomorrow

Nothing 04:09
It aint nothing but what you bring to it It aint even there if you're not seeing it I don't need nothing from anyone Don't need to stay and I don't need to run I don't owe you a thing if you call on me I do what I want and you'll do without Aint no up or down, and I'm only around 'TIl I say it's time to check out It's all good, it's all fine Don't need to fix it It's all just a mistake that aint mine Don't need to give a shit Not my problem I'm just passing by I don't need nothing from anyone I don't need to stay and I don't need to run I don't owe you a thing I don't owe anyone Nothing

Generation 03:59
Something missing, something missing Got a heap of treasure But somethings missing We're starving in our wealth Something deeper, something deeper Can't put my finger on what it is Something never known to... A generation paralyzed and numb Don't even know what we are running from My voice calls to you It's lost upon the tide For you're each an island, every one Of a generation paralyzed and numb Heaped upon me, the fruit of a thousand years They won these spoils Mother and father handed them to me Child we fought back the pain, ever encroaching To give you the strength to join in approaching That dream we've all been marching towards And you and yours will take us Farther than we've ever been before I think on this as I witness... A generation paralyzed and numb Don't even know what we are running from My voice calls to you It's lost upon the tide For you're each an island, every one Of a generation paralyzed and numb

If you haven't noticed yet If you haven't heard by now This is it, it's real, it's here The time to speculate's run out And what will you carry with you, From what you have done? What your heart holds That it can't outrun When we're far down the road When we're looking back on what we chose Will you be sleeping easy? Carrying a light load? Or will you be crushed by the weight, Of what your heart holds When all you've got is what's before you Find some way to solid ground The hierarchies that have formed you Will be flooded, will be drowned And what will you carry with you, From what you have done? What your heart holds That it can't outrun When we're far down the road When we're looking back on what we chose Will you be sleeping easy? Carrying a light load? Or will you be crushed by the weight, Of what your heart holds

Who We Are 05:17
Is there anywhere for me here? Is there anywhere I fit? If I don't hate half of you And I don't sign on the line Is there anything else, Or is that it? Who we are Is it a question or an ultimatum? Who we are Is it a side: us or them? Who we are All that I know is I'm alone When my heart decides And it don't choose sides So is there room in your plan for that? Is there any place for a time out? Is there any time we can replace All we've held to, and called ourselves, With only the truth that this moment tells? So these words land, Or are they already expelled? Who we are Is it a question or an ultimatum? Who we are Is it a side: us or them? Who we are All that I know is I'm alone When my heart decides And it don't choose sides So is there room in your plan for that?

I have been away For a number of days I don't care to count I've come up with a grand Number of plans Had to throw them all out Out in the dark corners I made my home Down deep in the cracks Where it felt safe to rest my bones I have been away Probably most days Didn't even know I was gone I would like to stay here Would like to be with you If I am to go on Out in the dark corners I made my home Down deep in the cracks Where it felt safe to rest my bones
